Birmingham Running Festival February is organised by RunThrough and offers 5K, 10K and Half Marathon races alongside a Junior 1K in Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield.
The races follow surfaced roads and paths through the extensive parkland of this 2,400 acre National Nature Reserve. The undulating courses combine woodland scenery, open green spaces and a series of climbs and descents. The Half Marathon features approximately 306m of elevation gain, providing a substantial challenge over the longer distance.
All races are chip timed, with clearly marked routes, marshals, water stations and medical support. Finishers receive a themed medal, post race goodies and free professional race photography. The event also supports Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, bringing runners and families together in one of Birmingham's best known green spaces.
