BigHeat Trails FIRE is part of the BigFeat Classic Element Trail Series and takes place around Lurgashall and the Surrey Hills countryside in West Sussex. The trail running festival features 12K, 16 mile, Marathon and 50K Ultra Marathon distances across winding forest trails, sandy tracks and rolling countryside terrain.
Routes follow sections of the Serpent Trail and pass through landscapes including Blackdown and the Temple of the Winds. Based around a weekend festival atmosphere, the event combines challenging trail running with woodland scenery and a relaxed outdoor community feel.
