Bewl Water Spring is organised by Hermes Running and offers four distances around Bewl Water, set within the Kent and Sussex countryside near Lamberhurst.
The routes are mainly off road, combining undulating wooded trails, open countryside and sections of quiet country lane with extensive views across the reservoir. The 10K follows an out and back route, while the Half Marathon combines a short opening section with one clockwise lap of Bewl Water.
The Marathon begins with an out and back section before completing two clockwise laps of the reservoir. The 50K Ultra completes two laps followed by a shorter final loop.
The event is professionally chip timed, with well stocked checkpoints, marked and marshalled routes and medical support. Finishers receive a bespoke medal, with awards for the leading male and female runners across all four distances.
