The Woodland Run is a friendly mixed terrain event organised by Beginners2Runners, offering 5K and 10K races through the picturesque Oaken Woods near East Malling in Kent. Designed to be welcoming and inclusive, the event encourages runners, walkers and newcomers to enjoy a relaxed day of trail running in a supportive atmosphere.

The traffic free routes follow a mixture of woodland trails, packed gravel paths and sections of tarmac, creating an enjoyable and varied running experience beneath the woodland canopy. The 5K completes one loop, while the 10K covers two laps, making the event suitable for first time runners as well as more experienced participants looking for an enjoyable summer challenge.

With friendly marshals, water stations, a bespoke finisher's medal and a post race goody bag, the Woodland Run focuses on participation, community spirit and enjoyment rather than competition.
