The Bedgebury Forest Half Marathon & 10K takes runners beneath the impressive canopy of Bedgebury National Pinetum & Forest in Kent. Half Marathon and 10K distances are joined by a 1K junior race, creating a friendly autumn event in a completely traffic free woodland setting surrounded by impressive forest scenery.
Both main races follow trails through the heart of the forest, winding between the pines along narrow paths and varied terrain. The hilly course provides an engaging challenge for runners, while the peaceful woodland surroundings and colourful autumn landscape make Bedgebury a memorable setting for both distances.
Runners can expect a well organised event with managed routes and plenty of encouragement along the way. Finishers receive a bespoke medal, with free race photography and prizes for leading runners also included. The 1K junior race starts ahead of the main events, giving younger runners their own opportunity to experience racing at Bedgebury.
