Basingstoke Half Marathon, 10K and 5K are organised by Destination Basingstoke, combining a large scale race experience with a strong community atmosphere.
All three races start and finish at the Race Village in War Memorial Park. The Half Marathon and 10K head from Basingstoke onto closed roads through the surrounding countryside. The Half Marathon is particularly challenging, passing through Cliddesden and Ellisfield before tackling the famous Big Dipper at Bedlam Bottom and continuing towards Farleigh Wallop. The 10K follows a shorter course designed to offer faster running while retaining the scenic character of the event.
The 5K provides a more accessible option, following the same opening route before turning on Farleigh Road and returning to the finish.
The races are chip timed, with water stations, medical support and official pacers available. A lively Race Village adds to the atmosphere at the start and finish.
