The Badlesmere 10K is a scenic countryside running event based at Badlesmere Village Hall in Kent, with a challenging 10K course through the North Downs landscape. Organised as a community event, it welcomes runners and walkers and raises funds through the community run village hall and lees.
Runners can expect a testing course rather than a flat and fast 10K, with the surrounding countryside providing extensive rural views and plenty of character along the way. Chip timing provides race results, while three water stations support participants around the course. A separate short kids race takes place before the main 10K, providing an option for younger runners.
The race village at Badlesmere Village Hall provides toilets, changing facilities, a bag drop, refreshments, first aid and free parking. Spectators are encouraged to support participants, and 10K finishers receive a bespoke medal, with prizes also awarded across overall and age categories.
