The Ali Brownlee 5K is a flat, traffic free road race through the centre of Middlesbrough, honouring the much loved broadcaster known as the Voice of the Boro. Organised as part of Middlesbrough Runs, the event celebrates Ali Brownlee's passion for the town, its people and community spirit while welcoming runners of all abilities.
The fast 5K route starts and finishes in Centre Square, passing local landmarks including the Riverside Stadium on a fully marshalled course designed for both first time runners and those chasing a personal best.
