Alf Shrubb Memorial 10K

The Alf Shrubb Memorial is a community running event in Slinfold, West Sussex, celebrating the achievements of renowned distance runner Alf Shrubb. The races explore the surrounding countryside using a mixture of local footpaths, bridleways and trails.

Runners can choose between the 10K and 5K trail races, with the longer distance completing two laps and the 5K following a similar single lap route. Children's races provide additional distances for younger participants, with all races finishing at Slinfold Cricket Club.

The event celebrates Slinfold's running heritage while raising funds for local organisations and community causes. Chip timing, finisher medals and a welcoming race day atmosphere make it an event for both competitive runners and families.
