The Alex Moore Festival is organised by Norfolk Gazelles at the Norfolk Showground in Norwich. Held in memory of Norfolk Gazelles runner Alex Moore, the festival includes the Alex Moore Relay, the Alex Moore 5K Dash and the Children's 2K Canter, bringing together runners of all ages and abilities.
The festival's signature relay sees teams of three runners each complete an individual 5K leg before reuniting to run a final 2K lap together, while the accurately measured 5K Dash offers an individual racing opportunity. The flat, spectator friendly course around the Norfolk Showground creates an enjoyable atmosphere for competitors and supporters throughout the day.
Professional chip timing, free parking and excellent event facilities help deliver a well organised race day. Every participant receives a finisher's medal, while the welcoming atmosphere and varied programme of races have established the Alex Moore Festival as a popular fixture on the Norfolk running calendar.
