The event can be run solo or as a pair. The course starts on machair land behind the Dark Island Hotel, you swiflty enter Liniclate beach (#1) heading North towards Stinky Bay (beach #2), named for its fresh smell of seaweed! Just after the Culla Bay beach (#3) checkpoint / pairs changeover (5 miles) the route turns onto tarmac for the remainder of the race finishing in front of the Dark Island Hotel for a well-earned drink!
