Baldoon WWII Airfield (appears on the map as 'Shell Road') This is a charity event on behalf of The Stroke Association (Scotland).
1. For those who participate regularly in running events, you are unlikely to be gathering sponsorship or donations every time you run. For you there is an on-line sign-up fee of £12.00 (£6.00 for kids) via Entry Central, or £15.00 (£8.00) if you sign up on or after 7th October.
2. For those participants who wish to do so, you may use the Sponsor/Donations Form (available from the organiser) instead of paying the sign-up fee, gathering support for this great cause from friends and relatives.
The 5k will be one lap of the perimeter and the 10k two laps. The 1k is suitable for children, Stroke survivors and wheelchairs. Are you a Stroke survivor and unsure if you can manage the 1k? Don't worry; do what you can and then ride 'home' in style. This is one not to be missed!
For those who wish to walk the 10k, it will be necessary for you to begin half an hour earlier than others, at 11.30am. CAR PARKING: It is essential that all cars are parked up by 11.30am as the 10k walkers will begin at this time. For safety reasons, any latecomers will not be allowed to bring their car to the car park and will require to park outwith the area and walk in from there.
