Race The Train Trail Race
This event is usually a 5½ & 14-mile trail race in Yorkshire Dales National Park, in association with the tourist & heritage Wensleydale Railway - but see below

Due to significant track repairs delayed as a result of the pandemic, Wensleydale Railway are currently unable to guarantee a train service as far as Redmire. At the moment we can’t transport runners to Redmire, so a 5½ mile race is currently not possible, and 14 mile runners will be racing a "virtual" train. If the track works are completed in time, organisers will also put on the 5½ mile route, and you will all race a real train!
