The route is undulating (hilly!) with 1650 feet of ascent incorporating a mix of hard-packed rocky trails, boggy sections, limestone rocks and grassy tracks. Fell running or trail running shoes are essential.
This is a demanding half marathon, with approx. 1650ft of ascent, takes in landmarks such as Pikedaw, Malham Tarn, Goredale Scar and Janet's Foss - voted one of the Top 10 Secret Trails of The National Trust.
