The route at various points can only be described as a tad hilly. It will take in a circular route which takes you through some of the most beautiful and scenic countryside in Somerset.
Although this route is systematically way marked you will still need to download the GPX route or a similar mapping system (Please see view course) to complete the course successfully.
There are many GPX apps you can access for either your timing device or on your phone, our preference is to use GPX viewer app.
We cannot stress enough that without mapping on your chosen device/phone, you will not successfully navigate this course as at several points along the route markers are sporadic and limited and there are a few twists and turns that you will miss otherwise.
As always, there will be at least 1 full course recce scheduled closer to the event.
You will climb Knowle Hill, Maes Knoll and Blackberry Hill (the three peaks) whilst enjoying excellent views of the Mendip Hills, Dundry Hill and the surroundings Chew Valley countryside.
