The Balloch to Clydebank half marathon is a point to point race on an accurately measure course and has been granted a certificate of Course Accuracy.

The course ismostly flat with minor inclines on the cycle path between Dumbarton Gateway Services and the Dunglass Roundabout and between Bowling and Old Kilpatrick. The course will stay on the canal path and cross the newly opened Bowline and will continue on the canal path until Dalmuir. The race leaves the canal path at Bridge Street and runners will be directed onto Cable Depo Road and then onto Queens Quay Main Avenue to the brand new race finish. The course is not suitable for wheelchair athletes. Runners are to keep to pavements and cycle tracks at all times unless instructed otherwise. Running on the road is entirely at your own risk.
