The retailer is offering a unique training day with one of its star athletes - distance runners Ingalena Heuck, Sören Ludolph and Tanja Eberhart are all possibilities - for the top five inspirational tales they receive.

News - Question Time For Olympic Hopeful Freya

Freya interviewed by BryanThe story of GB marathon hopeful Freya Murray's fight for a place at this summer's Olympics is the subject of a special BBC radio programme being broadcast next Monday afternoon (April 16). Bryan Burnett himself an enthusiastic runner travelled to Murray's training camp in Boulder, Colorado where she is putting the finishing touches to her marathon plan.

But it's one of the true beauties of the sport of running. There are goals for everyone to strive for - not just potential winners. Golf has its handicap system which levels the playing field and gives everyone an individual target, but there are few other sports that can really offer personalised goals as running does.

Poll - The Barefoot Question

Poll ImageThe recent debate about "Barefoot Running" is a controversial one, with some runners now deeply committed to their minimalist shoes, others still prefer shoes that offer support and cushioning.

Currently, the majority of voters have said that they prefer to run with as much cushioning as possible, followed by the people who use minimalist running shoes sometimes, with people who want to try using minamalist shoes in third place.
