News - Hagos Half Marathon Hero

Yared HagosWallsend Harriers' Yared Hagos gave an outstanding performance in Sunday's (February 26) Lifestyle Renault Tunbridge Wells half marathon. The Ethiopian athlete, who is also a listed runner for Bradford Airedale, surpassed the long-standing course record as he finished the race in 64:15.

News - News At Nottingham Not So Merry

RhoodmaraOrganisers of the Robin Hood Marathon in Nottingham have announced the event will not go ahead this year for the first time in its 32 year history. The race, scheduled to take place in September, has been postponed due to an increase of traffic around the route.

News - Wythenshawe Park Invites Beginners

parkrun wythenshaweWythenshawe parkrun have organised a special first timers event to encourage runners of all abilities to take part in future 5k races. Due to take place on Saturday, March 3, the event will provide a host of volunteers to take first timers around the two-lap course at different speeds.
