News - Records Smashed At Brighton
The first of the UK's big 2012 marathons provided record-breaking momentum in Olympic year with Kenya's Peter Some (2:12:01) lowering the men's course record at Brighton by over four minutes while Belarus's Sviatlana Kouhan cut five minutes off the previous women's best with 2:29:36.

News - Hit The Wall With New Ultra
Built almost 2000 years ago by the Emperor Hadrian, Hadrian's Wall was originally a military fortification and today stands as a UNESCO World Heritage site and a popular tourist attraction. On June 23 and 24, it is set to become the backdrop for Rat Race Adventure Sport's new ultra distance event entitled The Wall.

Poll - The Barefoot Question
The recent debate about "Barefoot Running" is a controversial one, with some runners now deeply committed to their minimalist shoes, others still prefer shoes that offer support and cushioning.
The majority of people still prefer to run in cushioned footwear, followed by people who are already committed minamalists in second place, with people considering giving barefoot running a try in third.
