Gay 5K PosterNext week will see a new event on the Scottish running calendar with the launch of the Gay 5K in Glasgow. Media speculation has surrounded the new event following reports that Hollywood A lister, Brad Pitt had been invited to start the race or to take part. Pitt will be in the city for the filming of the upcoming World War Z.

News - Online Deadline Looms For Bella Races

Bella 5K PosterHard-working Glasgow club Bellahouston Roadrunners is organising three races in 2011 and their event programme starts later this month with the popular Achilles Heel Bella 5K. The race held on a flat course in Bellahouston Park is set for Sunday, August 21 with a 2.00pm start.
