News - Bekele Heads London Marathon Elite
London Marathon elite race co-ordinator Dave Bedford has maintained the astonishingly high standard of the elite field for the 37th edition of the famous footrace on Sunday. The men's entry is headed by Ethiopia's Kenenisa Bekele and the fastest woman on paper is Mary Keitany (Kenya).

Wheelchair records were broken in warm conditions at the 121st Boston Marathon on Patriot's Day (17 April) in Massachusetts, USA, as Kenyans Geoffrey Kirui (2:09:37) and Edna Kiplagat (2:21:52) claimed prestigious titles in the main race.
