News - Scotland Set For Super 10 Sunday

Great Womens Run

Get set for a big weekend with two of the country's top 10ks being held on Sunday (17 May). 10,000 will head for the south side of Glasgow and the unique atmosphere of the Morrisons Great Women's 10K. While Aberdeen hosts the NE's top race, the Baker Hughes 10K.

Race Listing

2012 Women's 10kThis weekend is a big one for the ladies with the Morrison’s Women’s 10K taking place in Glasgow on Sunday. The ever-popular event will see thousands of female runners take to the streets of Glasgow’s South Side, raising money for countless charities and fulfilling fitness goals by the bucketload in the process.

Elsewhere in the country there are events being staged for both the sexes – the City of Aberdeen Baker Hughes 10K being one such race. This well-established race is for many runners the highlight of their running season. The course is based around Aberdeen beach and harbour area and has some spectacular views of the North Sea and the famous Beach Ballroom on the route.
