News - Kipsang To Make New York Debut

Wilson Kipsang

Marathon world-record holder, Wilson Kipsang, will make his New York City Marathon debut on 2 November. The Kenyan athlete set the fastest-ever mark of 2 hours 3 minutes 23 seconds at Berlin Marathon last year.

News - Early Bird Draws To A Close At Manchester

Manchester

Organisers of the ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon have issued a reminder to all runners to secure their place before the end of September and benefit from the reduced early bird entry fees. The marathon has enjoyed considerable success since being reintroduced and is set to attract up to 12,500 runners on Sunday 19 April, 2015.

So far 69% of you have said that you are year-round trail runners, 13% say they only head out on the pavements, and 7% prefer summer.

Great Langdale

Runners in Huddersfield will get the chance to sample wines from all over the world at Sunday’s Wineathlon. The 9-mile trail run features feed stations every two miles stocked with wine! More orthodox refreshment options are available at the Great Langdale Marathon and Half Marathon. The races have a reputation as being amongst the toughest road events in the UK with participants running around ‘England’s most scenic valleys’.
