News - Magnificent Seven For Dave

Dave WeedsThis November, Dave Weeds will travel to one of the most inhospitable terrains on earth in his pursuit of his aim, to become a member of the prestigious 7 Continents Marathon Club. Along with 50 other competitors, Dave will take part in the Antarctic Ice Marathon, situated a few hundred miles from the South Pole, to raise money and awareness for the National Deaf Children Society.

News - Second Time Around For Surrey Half

action from Surrey Half MarathonSurrey Half Marathon returns on 8 March, 2015 after a hugely successful launch earlier this year. The closed-road event has already established itself as the biggest in the county and 6,500 entrants are expected for the 2015 running. The half marathon will start and finish at Woking Leisure Centre and the course will take runners through the country lanes to the south west of Woking before returning to the town for the big finish!

Race Listings

Salisbury Trail Marathon RunnersLast weekend's race results are now available online at southernrunningguide.com. Check out the results and upcoming events on our race listing page.

Sunday marks the 19th staging of the Salisbury 54321 Marathon. The trail event takes participants over Salisbury's five rivers, four hills, through three large country estates, and past two castles and one cathedral (featuring the largest spire in England). Also on Sunday, the Aylsesham & East Kent 10K and 5K features a new undulating route that’s still suitable for beginners. The course gives runners the chance to see the often-undiscovered countryside in the county.
