Saturday's Great British Beerathon combines beer drinking and running in a five-mile 'slobstacle' race. Participants are required to neck a pint of beer and eat a selection of snacks after each mile. A more serious event, the Women's Running 10K series returns to Bristol on Saturday. The two-lap course features two flat and distinctive sections on each lap linked by a single hillier section, with views across the city and Avonmouth.
