News - Farah To Run At Glasgow Diamond League

Mo FarahMo Farah will be competing at Glasgow's Diamond League meeting on 11-12 July. The 30-year-old will take part in the event at Hampden Park just two weeks before the city hosts the Commonwealth Games.

News - Duncan Facing Stiff Competition At Inverness

Nicola Duncan RunningNicola Duncan has faced some stiff competition in the past, but none more so than Florence Kiplagat who set a world record in the half marathon as she beat Nicola to first place at Barcelona Half marathon last month. Nicola won’t have to face the Kenyan at this Sunday’s Inverness Half Marathon, but will still compete in a strong female field.

Balloch to Clydebank runnersYou can find lots of events and results on our race listings page and organisers can add their race details to our event listings by signing up here.

The longstanding Jack Crawford Springburn Cup 10K returns to the racing calendar this weekend. The race starts at the new time of 11am on Saturday and goes along the Forth and Clyde Canal Towpath.

Another longstanding event is Sunday's Balloch to Clydebank Half Marathon. First held in 1928, the race has a generally flat course with some minor inclines between Dumbarton Gateway Services and the Dunglass Roundabout, and between Bowling and Old Kilpatrick.
