Big Fun Runs Kick Off This Weekend

The start of a Big Fun RunSummer 2010s 'Big Fun Run' 5K races start this weekend with the first race on Saturday in Stirling, Scotland, followed by Aberdeen's race on Sunday. The events form part of a series of 24 events across the UK, taking place exclusively within scenic parks that are both safe and pleasant running environments. Read more.

Up And Coming Races

Northern Running Guide May Race ListingsThis Sunday sees a continuation of Jane Tomlinson's Run For All 10K series with the Pennine Lancashire 10K in Witton Park, Blackburn. London will also be hosting the Asics British 10K London Run, as well as the Notfast Open 10K in Newark. Midweek, the Bodyfit 5K will be held in Cockermouth on Wednesday, July 14, at the same time as 10K races in Laxton and Endmoor. Looking to next weekend, Half Marathon runners will battle it out in the Yorkshire Wolds Half Marathon on Saturday, July 17, with the Bupa Great North 10K and Gravy 6 Trail Race in Glossop on Sunday, July 18.
