News - British Blade Runner Launches New Half

Half marathon of the North launch

Former world record holder Steve Cram has teamed up with London 2012 Paralympic Games gold medallist Richard Whitehead - known as the British Blade Runner- to launch the Half Marathon of the North. The north east's newest half marathon is organised for Sunday 28 April, and will form part of a full programme of runs that includes the Marathon of the North and the Sunderland City 10K.

News - Santa Dash Aims For Royle Showing

Ricky Tomlinson places his support for the RunLiverpool Santa DashWith just four days to go, Ricky Tomlinson is the latest Mersey star to show his support for the RunLiverpool Santa Dash. The event, due to take place this Sunday (2 December), is aiming to set a Guinness World Record for the largest Santa Gathering, which currently stands at 13,000 runners.

News - Lanzarote Winter Boost?

Lanzarote runnersThere's still time to give your winter training programme a boost with a short break in the sun. But you'll have to be quick! Very quick in fact, if you want to sign up for the special Running Weeks at Club La Santa in Lanzarote (17-21 December). Although you have a little more breathing space if you fancy the Marathon Running Camp in January (11-17). Both packages are being offered by specialists Sports Tours International although availability is limited.
