Lee McConnellLee McConnell has put retirement plans on hold as she targets a place at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. The 34-year-old considered quitting running after failing to collect a medal at the London Olympics as GB only managed fifth in the relay, but the draw of competing in her hometown was too strong.

News - School Pupils Complete Mile-a-thon

School Pupils Mile-a-ThonAround 450 school pupils in Glasgow completed the Active Schools Mile-a-thon challenge this week. The event involved children from Crookston Castle, Cardonald, Craigton and Sandwood primaries running two miles a week for the last 13 weeks to reach their marathon target.
