News - Tony The Fridge Takes On Kielder

Tony the FridgeRegarded as 'Britain's most beautiful marathon', Sunday's Kielder marathon is expected to record its biggest turnout yet with 1,500 runners registered for the race. The field includes ambitious charity runner Tony the Fridge. The Kielder 10K, set for tomorrow (Satruday October 6) has also witnessed a sizable upturn in interest with 550 competitors - more than double the figure of last year.

News - Mo Ponders Marathon Move

Mo winning Bupa 10,000mMo Farah has indicated that he is ready to make his marathon debut on the streets of London. Farah who enjoyed a dream two weeks in the capital when winning Olympic gold in the 10,000m and 5,000m is set to step up in distance in his hometown, possibly in time for the 2014 Virgin London Marathon.

News - Seasonal Treat At Marathon Half

Macclesfield half winner Mohammed Abu-RezeqDespite concerns over the weather, more than 800 runners were greeted with perfect autumnal conditions yesterday (Sunday 30 September) at Macclesfield half marathon. The cool, dry conditions certainly seemed to aid runners with Altrincham & District's Mohamad Abu-Rezeq coming home in 69:52. Abu-Rezeq's club-mate Olivia Walwyn-Bush took first place in the women's field, finishing in 1:17:48.
